Hamburg are set to receive cash boosts after Vincent Kompany and Nigel De Jong won Premier League medals with Manchester City.
According to the German newspaper Bild, the club will receive a sum of two million euros from pay-outs due to a number of contract clauses they had on past stars if they were to win a domestic title.
Kompany and De Jong earned 250,000 euros for Hamburg following City s title win on Sunday.
City captain Kompany made the move to the Etihad Stadium back in 2008 for €8.5m euros while De Jong followed a year later for 18m euros.
Hamburg have also been paid 500,000 euros from Juventus for Dutch winger Eljero Elia after they beat AC Milan to the Scudetto title.
It has also been reported that Rafael van der Vaart will earn the German side one million euros from Real Madrid after Jose Mourinho s men lifted the La Liga title this season.
Despite moving to Tottenham in 2010, it is thought the deal that saw the midfielder leave for Madrid in 2008 included a clause that lasted for the duration of Van der Vaart s five-year contract.
The pay-outs will come as a boost to Hamburg following a disappointing campaign which saw them finish just one place above the drop zone in the Bundesliga.
